Bristol Lutheran Church

"Inspired by the Gospel, we love and serve creation

through our Christ-centered community."

Faith Formation

Bristol believes in Faith Formation across our generations! Our education model is having conversations where faith and life intersect. Everyone has a voice in this conversation!
This starts during sermon conversations and fellowship Q and A.

During worship Sparks Sunday School meets following the children's sermon until Communion, and our youngest kids can attend Bristol Butterflies - an engaging opportunity during the sermon that connects the lesson/theme of the day from God's story. Sparks Sunday School serves children through 6th grade.

Wednesday evening Confirmation For Life-long Learners offers a chance to go deeper with our education, and explore specific faith topics.

We believe that Faith Formation takes place in the home.  Families are the most influential pieces to kids lives of faith, and the church will support you in that effort.
Adult Bible Study

Wednesday Morning Bible Study meets each Wednesday morning, 10:00-11:00. We study the weekly readings for the following Sunday's worship service.   We will meet in the church conference room.  Please join us!

First Communion

We offer first communion instruction to anyone excited to take part in sharing in the Lord's table with the entire community.  Generally, we take our third graders on a morning retreat in the spring, and explore communion through song, bread making, chalice painting, and a fun meal history!

Confirmation meets Wednesday nights, 7:15-8:15.  All 7th and 8th grade students are invited to participate in confirmation as we explore faith, worship, service, and where God meets us in our life - at church, home, and school!

The good news...our confirmation is an education opportunity for all people.  Each month we will explore a new topic, over 2 or 3 Wednesday evenings.  Anyone is invited to be part of the discussion.

Contact Pastor Tim if you have questions!
Acolyting - More than just lighting candles!

We encourage our Sunday School and Confirmation youth to help us acolyte.  It may look like all you do is light candles, but it is much more.  You help lead worship.  You assist with communion.  You help collect the offering.  You are important!

We train acolytes once a year, or by request.  Here are some helpful links if you are interested in helping, or need a reminder!  Thank you!
